1: What kind of applications are the performance series machines designed for, and how do they meet the demands of sectors like die and mold?
A: The machines we offer under the performance series are built to handle a wide range of standard applications rather than being restricted to any specific one. They are versatile and can be effectively used across different industries, including highly demanding sectors like die and mold.
In the die and mold industry, the spindle becomes the most critical element because of the nature of the operations. Typically, the spindle and tool need to run continuously for long durations—sometimes 10 to 12 hours—without stoppage. Our machines are designed to excel under these conditions by providing higher RPMs, which help achieve superior surface finishes and sharper corner detailing.
Additionally, with thermal compensation built into the machines, the results in die and mold applications are far more reliable, consistent, and precise. This combination of endurance, speed, and accuracy makes the performance series machines a strong fit for demanding applications where precision and productivity cannot be compromised.
2: How are these machines designed to bridge the gap between local Indian manufacturers and imported machines, and what does affordability mean in this context?
A: The Performance Series machines have been specifically built to bridge the gap between Indian or local manufacturers and imported machines. The key point is that this has been achieved without compromising on quality. In fact, we have incorporated the same specifications you would typically find in imported machines, but at an affordable cost.
Now, when we speak of affordability, it does not simply refer to the upfront machine price—whether that price is X, Y, or Z. Affordability in our view means delivering better results by adding advanced technology and standard features within the machine itself, so customers don’t have to pay extra for crucial functions. Almost all of the features are provided as standard in these machines; we have not kept any of them as optional add-ons.
Moreover, because we have complete confidence in the quality and performance of our machines, we also provide extended warranties as a standard offering. This assures customers that not only are they getting advanced technology at an affordable price, but they can also rely on long-term support and maintenance of their machines for several years. This reflects our belief in the product and strengthens the trust our customers place in us.
3: How do the performance series machines support automation and Industry 4.0 integration?
A: Today, automation is a key factor in manufacturing, and the Performance Series machines have been designed with that in mind. These machines come with built-in readiness for Industry 4.0, IoT, and even AI-based applications. In other words, the machine itself is already equipped with the hardware and features required for automation—it is prepared from our side.
However, the actual output from these features depends on the customer’s setup. For example, just like with a computer or a particular software, the customer needs to arrange the integration tools or software platform they prefer. Once that is added, our machines can seamlessly work with it. Because of this preconfigured readiness, customers can directly integrate automation solutions, data monitoring systems, or Industry 4.0 platforms into the machine and immediately realize the benefits.
In short, our machines already have automation capabilities built in, and the customer can easily unlock their full potential by linking them with the right digital ecosystem.
4: What kind of advanced models have already been delivered under the Performance Series, and how are customers benefiting from them?
A: We already have multiple models from the Performance Series installed at customer sites. For example, in the area of multi-axis machining, we have successfully delivered several 5-axis machines. Customers using these machines are already experiencing significant improvements in the accuracy of their components, which reflects the value these solutions are bringing to their operations.
In addition to this, we also have multi-axis solutions in turning—commonly known as turn-mills—with 5-axis capabilities. These machines have also been launched and are already part of our product basket, ready for the industry. With these advanced offerings, we are able to provide customers with high-precision, multi-axis solutions that expand their manufacturing possibilities and help them achieve greater efficiency and productivity.
5: How is the Performance Series being adopted in high-precision industries like aerospace and defense?
A: The upcoming industries today demand the highest levels of accuracy, precision, and reliability. That is exactly where the Performance Series stands out. We have already marked more than 500 installations of these machines, and a significant number of them are operating in the aerospace and defense sectors.
If you take regions like Bengaluru and Hyderabad, for example, we have multiple units of our machines already running successfully with leading aerospace and defense companies. This clearly demonstrates that the machines are well adapted and fully capable of meeting the stringent technological requirements of these sectors. The precision and reliability they deliver have helped customers place their trust in the Performance Series for such critical applications.
