
The Tooling business of Godrej Enterprises Group, along with its partners, hosted the Diecast Summit 2025 on 19th August 2025 at Vikhroli, Mumbai. Organized in collaboration with Godrej’s Tooling global technology partners Voestalpine, Oskar Frech Group, Magma, and Kraemer & Grebe – the summit was designed as a knowledge-sharing platform to explore the future of diecasting technology.
The Summit saw participation from over 100 representatives from various customer and partner organisations like Honda Motorcycles & Scooters India, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, Endurance Technologies Limited, Super Auto India, Sound Castings Private Limited, Uno Minda, Spark Minda, and industry bodies like GDC Tech.
Themed “Understanding the Future Needs of Customers,” the summit focused on advancing innovation, building capabilities for complex structural castings, preparing for aerospace applications, and creating a resilient ecosystem that delivers end-to-end solutions. Sessions covered advanced simulation techniques, state-of-the-art diecasting equipment, superior die steels, and global best practices in die design.
Mr. Pankaj Abhyankar, Business Head, Tooling business of Godrej Enterprises Group, in his inaugural remarks, stressed that the industry must work collectively to deliver on customer expectations of agility, dependability, precision, and adaptability, while prioritizing “First Time Right” outcomes to reduce lead times in production.
The summit served as a platform for collaboration, innovation, and transformation to strengthen India’s diecasting industry for the future.
