What are the current trends and demands you’ve observed in the Indian die mould industry?
The Indian Die Mould Industry is currently expanding into other high precision markets such as medical, aerospace, EV and chip manufacturing. This is largely due to the precision manufacturing expertise and talent that this industry carries and nurtures. There is also an increasing demand for modern manufacturing knowledge in this domain, which is driving the trend to combine subtractive and additive manufacturing techniques for best results.
How do you perceive the business outlook for the die mould industry in India in the coming years? Are there specific growth areas or challenges you anticipate?
The Die Mould Industry is a perennial business. While the players may diversify into allied domains – but the crucial aspects of this industry, which are – precision manufacturing, innovative manufacturing techniques, application of traditional and modern methods of manufacturing based on best practices – help this industry grow organically as well as inorganically. There are challenges in the nature of rapid technology changes and adoption, but the industry has always thrived under such circumstances.
Can you highlight some of the innovative solutions or products from your company and tell us how these offerings address industry needs?
We have our new version – Mastercam 2024 – which has over 100 new features and enhancements like B-Axis contour enhancements, turret-mounted angled milling heads, dynamic motion options and much more. We also has brought up new embedded NC code verification tools – which is bound to help our customers and partners verify that what they have programmed runs correctly on the machine tool.
How does your company stay competitive in a dynamic market, and what strategies or technologies do you employ to maintain your position in the industry?
We have always been pro-customers and we continue to keep our customers at the centre of our attention – be it product development, support or innovation. Also, collaborating with our industry partners helps us in remaining current with technological developments around machine tools, cnc controllers, cutting tools, work holding devices etc., Finally, we ensure that our staff is also trained on the latest tools that we work with, ensuring that our experts help our customers win.
