
On January 30, 2026, VIGEL S.p.A. (Borgaro Torinese – TO) and MCM S.p.A. (Vigolzone – PC) announced the completion of the transfer of ownership of MCM S.p.A. to MCM Manufacturing Technologies S.r.l., a subsidiary of the GENFIN holding, which also controls VIGEL S.p.A.
Both Vigel and MCM are widely recognized as leading players in the manufacturing technologies sector. The acquisition aligns with the long-term vision of building a strong and diversified organization focused on delivering advanced machining solutions to the global industry.

VIGEL SpA is a company founded in 1947 in Torino and still owned by the founder’s family. VIGEL was one of the pioneers in the design and manufacture of multi-spindle machining centers and is now a multinational company with factories in Italy (Turin), India, and China, and branches in Europe, the United States, Mexico, India, China, and Korea. In addition to machining centers, VIGEL’s product range also includes vertical lathes and special machine tools for the automotive industry.
MCM SpA is a company founded in 1978 in Piacenza , specializing in the design and manufacture of horizontal machining centers and flexible production systems that operate through supervision software developed by its own IT division. MCM’s mechanical processing technologies are applied to a wide range of industrial sectors, with a focus on aerospace.

The acquisition strengthens the ability to offer a wider range of products and technologies, diversify the market of reference and build up strategies which will reinforce the synergies between the two companies as sales , product’s development , manufacturing , procurement as well reinforce the presence and closeness to our today even wider and diversified customer base.
