Tungaloy Corporation has announced an expansion of its TetraMini-Cut tool series, introducing new insert widths and corner radii specifically designed for ultra-narrow grooves around 1 mm and precision E-ring groove machining.

As small-part machining continues to demand higher precision and lighter product designs, achieving both machining accuracy and extended tool life for ultra-narrow and E-ring grooves has posed a challenge for many manufacturers. Previously, the TetraMini-Cut series offered limited specifications for such fine grooves, restricting its application range. With this expansion, Tungaloy aims to meet the growing needs of industries such as electronic components and precision equipment, enabling a wider variety of small-part machining applications while maintaining high performance and reliability.

TetraMini-Cut is high-precision grooving and parting tools developed by Tungaloy. They cover a wide range of applications, from small-diameter components to heavy-duty cutting.
