With a strong focus on enhancing precision and process reliability in tooling applications, East Coast Magnets Private Limited is set to present a range of advanced magnetic and demagnetisation technologies at the upcoming Die & Mould India (DMI) 2026 exhibition. The company continues to align its innovations with the evolving needs of high-precision manufacturing and automation-driven environments.

Sharing his perspective on the participation, Dhiruj Sarda, Director, East Coast Magnets Private Limited, emphasized the importance of technological evolution and industry collaboration, he said, “At DMI 2026, we are presenting intelligent magnetic clamping systems equipped with AI-assisted flux sensing, designed to monitor magnetic distribution, assess contact conditions, and guide safe clamping parameters for improved safety and repeatability in injection moulding and machining. We are also introducing our die and mould series demagnetisers, which address residual magnetism in high-alloy steels—helping enhance surface finish, machining stability, and overall tool life.”

“In addition, our next-generation inline demagnetisation systems are built for large components and automated production setups, enabling consistent demagnetisation without interrupting workflow. We will also showcase magnetic workholding solutions for EDM and precision machining, engineered to ensure minimal deflection during magnet ON/OFF cycles, thereby maintaining accuracy and eliminating distortion. These innovations reflect our broader approach of integrating magnetics with sensing technologies and intelligent automation to support the future of tooling manufacturing.” he further added.

DMI serves as a critical platform for Indian manufacturers to showcase their technological capabilities to a global audience. The event underscores India’s transition from a cost-driven manufacturing hub to a significant contributor of advanced engineering solutions.

Reflecting on past experiences, Sarda noted that participation in earlier editions of the exhibition has enabled the company to establish meaningful connections with toolmakers, machine builders, and OEMs. These engagements have led to collaborative product development, wider adoption of magnetic clamping solutions across applications, and increased awareness of demagnetisation challenges within the die and mould sector.

He further highlighted that while immediate business outcomes are valuable, the real strength of such platforms lies in fostering long-term partnerships and driving industry-wide progress through knowledge exchange and collaboration.
