Highlighting its focus on high-precision machining and advanced grinding solutions, Idaka Precision Tools India Pvt Ltd is set to present cutting-edge technology at the upcoming Die & Mould India (DMI) 2026 exhibition. The company continues to align its offerings with the growing demand for accuracy, productivity, and cost efficiency in tooling applications.

Sharing details about the showcase, Ravindra Katdare, Director, Idaka Precision Tools India Pvt Ltd, said, “At DMI 2026, we are showcasing the Amada Optical Profile Grinder for the die and mould industry. This machine is equipped with a high-speed reciprocation system, a high-accuracy grinding wheel, and an elevation table, along with a high-precision, high-speed spindle (TS-6) and a center-of-gravity bed design that ensures superior stability. The LED specification significantly reduces operating costs while improving usability, and the projector delivers exceptionally clear and detailed images, enabling precise profile grinding.”

“Overall productivity is enhanced through easy programming, along with faster and more accurate operations, making it a highly efficient solution for precision tooling requirements. These capabilities are designed to support manufacturers in achieving tighter tolerances while maintaining operational efficiency.” he added.

DMI 2026, being one of the largest platforms for the die and mould industry in India, brings together leading domestic and global participants. It offers companies a strong opportunity to showcase their capabilities, introduce new ideas, and engage directly with key decision-makers and potential customers.

Katdare further emphasized that participation in such exhibitions provides valuable insights into market positioning, evolving customer expectations, emerging technologies, and collaboration opportunities. He noted that the real advantage lies in how effectively companies convert these learnings into timely actions, as speed of implementation remains a critical success factor.

Commenting on the industry outlook, he added that the die and mould sector, though niche, holds significant growth potential. By focusing on modular design innovations, continuous skill development, adoption of advanced technologies, and digital manufacturing practices, the industry can transition from a price-driven to a value-driven approach, expand from local to global markets, and move towards high-precision manufacturing.
