HASCO has expanded its Single Shot H6300/… single nozzle series with the introduction of a new version featuring a 25 mm head diameter. The Single Shot H6300/… has established itself as an economical and reliable solution for processing both simple and technical plastics.
The nozzle series is now available in three sizes, with the latest and smallest variant designed for producing small injection-moulded parts with a shot weight of up to 80 g and immersion depths of up to 170 mm.
The new nozzle incorporates replaceable wear parts, including nozzles and prechambers, to simplify maintenance and repair. Its heater is pressed directly onto the nozzle body and operates with a single control circuit to provide uniform temperature distribution along the entire nozzle length. Additionally, the externally mounted thermal sensor enables quick and easy replacement.
Generous flow channel diameters, customised heat distribution and gentle melt guidance ensure a homogeneous temperature profile and low-shear mould filling. Thanks to the thermocouple positioning near the nozzle tip, efficient insulation using high-quality titanium heads, and long heat transfer paths to the cold mould, even plastics with narrow processing temperature windows can be processed reliably.
The compact design, low energy consumption and high mass throughput make the Single Shot H6300/… – now also available with ahead diameter of 25 – an economical solution with an attractive price–performance ratio. Various torpedoes and screw prechamber variants, adopted from the Vario Shot series, enable not only classic point gating but also straightforward integration into the mould plate and rapid restoration of gate quality in the event of wear. Extended prechambers with the option of free machining are available for connections on free-form surfaces or sub-distributors with gating cones.
