Andreas Maier Workholding Technology India, the Indian subsidiary of Andreas Maier GmbH, has opened a new office in Bengaluru. The new office is located at Industry House on Race Course Road, in the commercial district of the city. The Bengaluru office strengthens Andreas Maier Workholding Technology India’s presence in the country and supports its operations in the Indian market.
The Office was inaugurated on the 4th of Aug ’26 by the Consul General ( designate ) of Germany , Dr Christoph Dorschfeldt ; Mr Johannes Maier , Group MD of AMF and Mr Rajesh Nath , MD of VDMA ( Confederation of European Industry ), through a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony.
The event was attended by dignitaries including the Regional Director of the Indo-German Chamber, Mr Madhusoothanan; Economic Advisor to the CG, Ms Kanchi Arora ; Chairman of the Institute of Directors , Mr Chakravarti Mohan and Ms Alokha Mendens , IOD Southern Head , Nextdigm Consultants , DBS bank and Media personnel in the presence of the AMF-India regional heads and teams.
Mr Johannes Maier delivered the key note address and traced the beginnings and growth of AMF in the country . Dr Dorschfeldt highlighted the close cooperation between German and Indian companies ; Ms Simon Schmidt , International Sales Director of AMF and TV Mohan, Country Head of AMF-India welcomed and thanked the guests and invitees attending the function. The VIP’s were also hosted by Ms Vishwanath Ammanagi and Vivek Haridas , the Directors ( S & M ) of AMF-India.
