Allied Machine and Engineering has expanded its T-A Pro product line with the addition of form inserts for holemaking and finishing applications in the metal-cutting industry.

The new form inserts are available in 82-, 90- and 100-degree configurations. According to the company, they are designed to produce high-quality, chatter-free countersinks for finished holes and chamfers.

The inserts can also be used for final edge finishing or for lead-in preparation ahead of secondary threading operations.

Whether used for countersinking in fab shops or for chamfering in production environments, the new T-A Pro inserts are designed for compatibility with industry-standard specifications. As a cutting tool solution that can be utilized across a wide range of diameters, the form inserts are backed by the proven benefits of the T-A Pro replaceable insert system.

On adding the form inserts to the product offering, John Weniger, product manager, shares, “This continues our goal to create an all-encompassing ecosystem around T-A Pro.”
