Indo-MIM is a leading company in Metal Injection Molding (MIM). They’ve started using two HP metal jet binder 3D printers in India. These printers use advanced 3D printing technology. Indo-MIM is the first to mass-produce very precise metal parts using 3D printing. They make parts for industries like cars, planes, defense, electronics, and medical devices. Their facility in Bengaluru has these printers and will serve customers in India and around the world.

INDO-MIM, in a global partnership, has obtained three advanced HP Metal Jet S100 printers. Two of these printers will improve production and provide specialized services to customers in India. One printer will focus on developing new materials, while the other will work on improving applications, serving clients in India, the Middle East, and the broader Asia-Pacific region. The third printer is in use at Indo-MIM’s facility in Texas, USA.

Savi Baveja, who leads Personalization & 3D Printing at HP Inc., said, “Working with INDO-MIM brings new and exciting possibilities for their customers using HP’s metal 3D printing technology. We aim to change how metal parts are made in India by focusing on local production and global sales. Together, we want to encourage new ideas, increase the use of this technology, and make India a strong player in global manufacturing.”

Krishna Chivukula Jr, the CEO of Indo-MIM, expressed excitement about the partnership with HP. He said, “Teaming up with HP is a big step forward in our goal to provide top-notch 3D metal printing solutions to our clients. With HP’s Metal Jet S100 printers, we have advanced technology that lets us meet our customers’ needs quickly and accurately. We can also use a wider range of materials on HP’s printing platform.”

The collaboration with HP gives INDO-MIM advanced technology to make high-quality metal parts for markets in India and the USA. Using HP’s latest metal 3D printing tech, INDO-MIM can meet the growing demand for complex metal parts that can be mass-produced. HP and INDO-MIM are also testing new HP Metal Jet materials like M2 tool steel to improve quality and accuracy, pushing the boundaries of metal 3D printing.

The Metal Jet S100 system, launched in fall 2023, is now a leading global choice for 3D metal production. It helps businesses design and make metal parts faster, changing how they work. HP and INDO-MIM both focus on new tech and eco-friendly ways to make things. They’re leaders in metal 3D printing, ready to transform industries and create new opportunities.
