Tungaloy Corporation has announced the expansion of its PSC-compatible ‘TungCap’ tooling system with the addition of new clamping units for CNC lathes.
The company will begin nationwide sales of 75 newly developed items designed for both stationary and rotating tool applications. The expanded lineup aims to enhance flexibility and compatibility in CNC lathe operations, offering users improved tooling options across a wider range of machining requirements.

The PSC-compatible tooling system “TungCap” series adopts a high-rigidity polygon coupling structure that provides very high tip-position accuracy during tool changes, eliminating the need for test cuts after insert replacement as in conventional practice and thereby significantly reducing machine downtime. In addition, an internal lubrication system reliably supplies cutting fluid to the cutting point, enabling high-efficiency machining. With this significant expansion of clamping units compatible with CNC lathes, TungCap series holders and tooling can now be used on machines that have conventional tool posts.
