Baumer has announced the acquisition of Swiss company X-Sensors AG, a leading developer of high-precision force and strain sensors for over 25 years. The announcement coincides with the opening of the SINDEX trade fair in Bern.

Through this acquisition, Baumer aims to expand its portfolio in force and strain measurement technology. The integration of X-Sensors’ expertise and the merger of development teams are expected to significantly boost Baumer’s innovation capabilities in the field.

X-Sensors has built a strong reputation for supplying custom sensor solutions to leading OEMs in specialized applications. The move further positions Baumer as a key player in delivering advanced, high-performance sensor technologies.
