Bavaria Returns to BIEMH with Six Companies

The German state of Bavaria has participated in the BIEMH for the second time with a dedicated joint stand, featuring six Bavarian companies as exhibitors.

Located in the heart of Europe, Bavaria is known for combining a high quality of life and remarkable natural landscapes with strong international economic performance. Recognized as one of the world’s leading high-tech locations, the region is home to a unique mix of innovative family-owned businesses and globally active corporations.

This strong industrial ecosystem is further reinforced by close collaboration between industry, science, and research institutions, helping create a dynamic and future-oriented economic landscape.

The machinery and equipment manufacturing sector is the largest employer in Bavaria, accounting for 17.3 % of the total workforce across the entire manufacturing industry – ahead of the automotive industry. However, with a turnover of € 61.2 billion in 2024, it comes in second place (12.9%) behind the automotive industry (36.5%). Machinery and equipment manufacturing exports account for around two thirds of this figure. As one of the major EU member states, Spain represents an important market for the Bavarian mechanical engineering industry.

Visit the Bavarian Pavilion in Hall 3, Booth C-14, and discover Bavaria’s innovative strength up close. Meet selected Bavarian companies and experience the latest technologies, groundbreaking developments, and high-quality services firsthand. Take advantage of this opportunity to make valuable business contacts, establish new partnerships, and learn more about Bavaria as a strong, future-oriented business location in the heart of Europe.

The companies at the Bavarian Pavilion offer products across the entire spectrum of mechanical engineering – from clamping systems, grinding tools and industrial metal saw blades, all the way to robotics and software for machine vision:
