French injection moulding machine manufacturer Billion SAS and ENGEL have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at providing continuity for existing Billion customers while supporting their future equipment investments.
Under the agreement, Billion will remain the central point of contact for servicing existing Billion injection moulding machines. At the same time, ENGEL will become the recommended supplier for customers looking to purchase new injection moulding equipment.
The collaboration takes immediate effect and is intended to combine Billion’s established local service with ENGEL’s injection moulding solutions. Billion will continue to operate as an independent company while recommending ENGEL as its preferred machine supplier for new equipment.
Both companies are family-run businesses and share a focus on long-term and responsible decision-making for customers, employees and business partners. The partnership is expected to provide Billion customers with a consistent service experience for their existing machinery while offering an additional option for future investments.
A strong alliance for the plastics industry
For existing customers, day-to-day business will change very little – yet something important has shifted behind the scenes. Billion will continue to handle its own service operations exactly as before and remains the first point of contact. What is new, however, is that Billion customers can now count on the backing of ENGEL, a major European group with a global sales and service network as well as global manufacturing and supply chain capabilities. Should additional resources be needed – for instance in specific countries – Billion will be able to draw on ENGEL’s service network and technical expertise, providing an extra safety net for all customers.

The partnership will also be visible and tangible in practice: customers will soon be able to see and experience an ENGEL solution live at Billion’s Tech Centre. In addition to its existing sales office in Wissous, the partnership gives ENGEL the opportunity to make use of Billion’s facilities, bringing it physically closer to one of the plastics industry’s key regions – allowing both teams to get even closer to their customers.
