India’s business expansion in April has reached its highest point in nearly 14 years, as indicated by PMI data

Compressed air and vacuum technology will be back at HANNOVER MESSE in 2025, underlining its importance for industry. As an important cross-sectional technology, it complements the key themes of automation and energy supply. The focus will be on efficiency and sustainability for a future-oriented industrial transformation.

In 2025, the compressed air and vacuum technology sector will once again be at HANNOVER MESSE. From 31 March to 4 April, exhibitors at the “Compressed Air & Vacuum Technology” area in Hall 12 will present their latest products and solutions for industrial applications to an international audience. As a cross-sectional technology, compressed air and vacuum technology is closely linked to the themes “Smart Manufacturing” and “Energy for Industry”.

“Using digital tools for condition monitoring, predictive maintenance and spare parts and maintenance management are a matter of course for manufacturers of compressed air and vacuum technology,” emphasizes Christoph Singrün, Managing Director of the Compressors, Compressed Air and Vacuum Technology Department within the German Association of Mechanical and Plant Engineering (VDMA). “Diverse applications continue to guarantee stable business despite constantly increasing requirements. Last year, German exports totaled almost 5.8 billion euros – with a continued focus on European business.”

The “Compressed Air & Vacuum Technology” area covers compressed air storage and distribution, remote monitoring systems, Industrie 4.0 solutions, compressors, process filtration, pumps, control systems, and services. At HANNOVER MESSE, companies reach decision-makers from the fields of automation, energy technology and electrical engineering as well as mechanical and plant engineering and research and development. Many suppliers specializing in the optimization of compressed air and vacuum technology in manufacturing also offer solutions for the growing hydrogen energy and storage sector. Among the exhibitors are leading companies from all over the world, including Aerzener Maschinenfabrik, Anest Ivata, Dalgakiran Makina, Ing. Enea Mattei, J.A. Becker & Söhne, Kaeser Kompressoren, Lupamat Makina, Omega Air and Rotorcomp Compressors.

2. International CEO Panel for Compressed Air & Vacuum
