HURCO will be showcasing its ProCobots systems which is designed to deliver efficient and error-reducing automation for small-batch production. Fully integrated into the control system, ProCobots make automation accessible to a wide range of users, helping minimize downtime while improving productivity. These automation solutions will be featured at EMO 2025, where HURCO will present them at Hall 12, Booth C60.
The robot arm is compatible with most of HURCO’s machine models and supports seamless workflows across 3-axis milling machines, lathes, and 5-axis machining centers.
HURCO is bringing the new ProFeeder EasyDesk 30 to EMO, a robot solution for parts handling with a payload of up to 30 kilograms. The jobs to be completed are managed and programmed directly via the Job Manager on the machine. Several jobs can be set up simultaneously, and components can be distributed individually within the grid plate.
The primary differentiator in terms of ease of use and quick set-up for automation is achieved directly at the Hurco control with an app that runs Hurco’s job automation software on the 2nd screen of the Max 5 control. The simple calibration process means that the ProCobot can easily be moved from one Hurco machine to another.
For EMO 2025, the ProCobot will be feeding a Hurco VMX42Di, 3 axis machining centre. As with all machines in the premium VMXi range, this model boasts direct digital drives and heavy duty roller guideways in all axes. The VMX42Di employs an 18kW, 15,000RPM direct-drive spindle, coolant ring, full cabinet washdown and swarf conveyor as standard features. Generous travels of 1,067 x 610 x 610mm, complete a package that is particularly well suited to high volume aluminium removal and 3D contouring.
