Manleo Designs to Showcase Precision Tool Setting Solutions at DMI 2026

ZD27 3D tool setter

Highlighting the growing need for accuracy, efficiency, and self-reliance in tooling, Manleo Designs Pvt. Ltd. is set to present its latest innovations at the 14th Die & Mould India International Exhibition (DMI 2026), scheduled from April 21–24 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. As the industry navigates global supply chain challenges and evolving market dynamics, the focus is increasingly shifting toward precision-driven solutions and diversified manufacturing opportunities beyond traditional sectors.

With India’s manufacturing ecosystem at a critical juncture, the die and mould segment is witnessing both challenges and renewed opportunities across sectors such as defence, electronics, and advanced engineering. Platforms like DMI continue to play a key role in enabling collaboration, knowledge exchange, and showcasing cutting-edge technologies that can drive the next phase of growth.

Rashmi L. Gururajrao, Co-founder & Director, Manleo Designs Pvt. Ltd., highlighted the company’s innovation and industry perspective, stating that “the ZD27 3D tool setter from Manleo Designs is designed for on-machine tool setting to measure tool length and diameter, significantly reducing rework and rejections in tooling applications,” adding that “it serves as a tool presetter to determine tool offsets directly on CNC machines with a measuring accuracy of ±1 micron, supporting maximum tool diameter and length up to 600 mm,” and noting that “it is ideal for CNC lathes and machining centers, providing automatic tool breakage detection and wrong tool detection to ensure accuracy and reduce downtime.”

She further elaborated on the broader industry outlook, stating that “the current geo-political situation has exposed risks in supply chains and highlights the need for India to become more self-sufficient in materials and manufacturing,” adding that “while the die mould sector has benefitted from the Make in India push, we may not have fully capitalized on the China+1 opportunity, but with India’s young workforce and growing demand, there is a renewed window to capture global opportunities,” and emphasising that “DMI remains one of the best platforms for reconnecting with industry, OEMs, and partners, enabling collaboration, exchange of ideas, and showcasing innovations that set the direction for future growth.”

With its participation at DMI 2026, Manleo Designs continues to reinforce its commitment to precision engineering, innovation, and supporting the evolution of India’s tooling ecosystem.
