Meusburger Announces New Management Structure

Meusburger Georg GmbH & Co KG has reorganised its management structure as part of a strategic move to ensure maximum stability for customers amid ongoing economic uncertainty. The company, a leading manufacturer of high-precision standard parts, has appointed a management team with strong roots in mould and die making while continuing to expand its digital services.

In January 2026, after many years of preparation, Guntram Meusburger transferred operational management of the company to Stefan Kraxner. He will lead operations alongside Tobias Fuchs, Head of Finance and Central Operations, and Simon Köb, Head of Sales and Marketing.

Practical knowledge as the foundation for sustainable success

Stefan Kraxner is no stranger to the industry: as a recognised expert in mould and die making, he learned the craft from the ground up. This close connection to practice ensures that Meusburger will continue to develop solutions that are precisely tailored to the challenges in the industry. As the market leader in the industry with the largest standard parts warehouse, the company guarantees a perfectly coordinated portfolio and continuous availability of its products. This makes Meusburger a reliable partner for customers from a wide range of industries in a dynamic market environment.

Experience and industry expertise in the new management trio

The new management team stands for exceptional continuity: together, the three executives have many years of experience at Meusburger and have played a decisive role in shaping the company’s development from a standard parts manufacturer to a full-range supplier in the industry. Stefan Kraxner has already contributed his expertise – particularly in the field of hot runner systems – as managing director of Meusburger Deutschland GmbH and as COO at the headquarters in Wolfurt. Simon Köb (CSO) has been with Meusburger for around ten years and has been a member of the executive board since 2019. Thanks to his many years of experience as head of sales for Europe, he has detailed knowledge of the specific market requirements of customers. Tobias Fuchs (CFO) has been with the company for just as long and is responsible for company-wide financial matters. In this capacity, he has been appointed as an authorised signatory. He has been a member of the executive board since 2022.

Efficiency through the Meusburger portal

A key focus of the new management is on digital transformation. Meusburger has positioned itself as a digital pioneer in the industry, simplifying customer processes. The Meusburger portal is much more than just a web shop: as a central ordering and service platform, it enables customers to place orders easily and efficiently by bundling all relevant information and products in one place. ‘Our portal supports our customers throughout the entire product life cycle – from CAD integration and individual configurations to service and reordering’, explains Simon Köb.

Strategic continuity with Guntram Meusburger

Guntram Meusburger, who has been with the company since 1999, is stepping down from day-to-day operations but will remain with the company as owner at holding level. He will continue to support the strategic direction and ensure that the values of quality and precision, which the name Meusburger represents, are upheld. ‘I am handing over the management with great confidence. The new management team knows the company, its values and markets very well. I am convinced that Meusburger is perfectly positioned for the years to come’, says Guntram Meusburger. With this long-term succession plan, Meusburger is consolidating its position as a leading manufacturer and offering its customers the security they need for a successful future in mould, die, and jigs and fixtures construction.
