Mouldspex to Showcase Specialized Moulds for Automotive Lighting at 14th DMI

Addressing automotive industry’s critical aesthetic challenges through specialised moulds for heavy-duty lighting applications, Mouldspex will participate in the 14th Die & Mould India International Exhibition (DMI 2026), organised by TAGMA INDIA. Scheduled from April 21 to 24 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai.

At DMI 2026, Mouldspex showcases moulds engineered for headlamps, tail lamps, and DRLs. Utilising advanced cooling channel designs and compression-injection technology, these solutions produce thick-walled PMMA/PC optical lenses without sink marks, vacuum voids, or flow lines maintaining cycle time efficiency and optical clarity essential for premium automotive aesthetics.

Participation in TAGMA’s DMI has evolved from marketing to a strategic lever for industry growth. The exhibition serves as the primary ‘matchmaking’ platform connecting India’s fragmented MSME tooling ecosystem with global OEMs and technology providers. As the sector transitions from local repair to global export readiness, DMI 2026 becomes the critical gateway verifying that transformation.

Rajesh Nambiar, Partner, Mouldspex, said, “Participating in Die & Mould India (DMI) 2026 is arguably the most critical strategic move a company in this sector can make this year. As the industry transitions from ‘local repair’ to ‘global export,’ this exhibition serves as the primary gateway to verify that shift. It connects our fragmented MSME ecosystem with global OEMs demanding precision automotive components.”

The event positions India’s die & mould capabilities before international buyers from automotive, EV, and lighting sectors, fostering partnerships, technology adoption, and export opportunities. DMI drives business growth through direct OEM access, trend benchmarking, and collaboration potential amid Make in India momentum.

Mouldspex invites toolmakers, OEMs, and automotive professionals to explore these automotive lighting solutions, reinforcing its role in elevating Indian precision manufacturing standards.
