New CIMCO Software 2026 Focuses on Enterprise Management

CIMCO Software has announced the release of CIMCO Software 2026, marking another year of continuous innovation, improvements and expanded capabilities across the company’s product suite. The latest release places a stronger emphasis on enterprise management, security and system integration, reflecting the growing need for robust and connected manufacturing software environments.

With this first release of the 2026 version, CIMCO has introduced several enterprise-focused enhancements aimed at strengthening security, simplifying system management and improving interoperability across different platforms and tools. One of the key updates includes encrypted communication between clients and servers, which is now enabled by default to enhance security across the entire system.

The new version also introduces a REST API that enables seamless integration with third-party management and automation tools, allowing manufacturers to better connect CIMCO solutions with their existing digital infrastructure. In addition, the NC-Base Client now supports office document previews, enabling users to view Word, Excel and PowerPoint files directly within the application without opening external programs, thereby improving workflow efficiency.

In addition to these new capabilities, both new customers and customers with active maintenance will benefit from hundreds of improvements, fixes, and powerful new features introduced over the past year across the CIMCO product family, including:

  • MDC-Max Web Client now includes Historical Dashboards, featuring new widgets, enhanced chart capabilities, export options, and improved dashboard usability.
  • MDC-Max operator experience enhancements, including improved kiosk-mode functionality and the new Bulletin feature for displaying slideshows of media and information directly on the shop floor.
  • Enhanced security and reliability in DNC-Max, with support for the SSH protocol as well as encrypted and authenticated Telnet communication.
  • DNC-Max Web Client usability improvements, including enhanced file preview capabilities and more efficient send/receive workflows.
  • NC-Base Web Client enhancements, including preview of associated documents, photo uploads, improved downloading and sending workflows, and better visibility into the import queue.
  • Major simulation advancements in CIMCO Edit, including new reverse posts, improved stock simulation quality, support for dual-spindle machine simulation.
  • Multi Channel productivity improvements, including Multi Channel templates for saving and loading reusable setups, and Pause Synchronization to prevent windows from jumping while editing.
