Tata Technologies led Consortium, which Includes Global Companies like Mastercam, Join Hands with Chattisgarh Government

In a significant step towards empowering the youth of Chattisgarh, Tata Technologies, a leader in the engineering and industrial software domain, has signed a momentous Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Chattisgarh. The historic event took place recently in Raipur (CG) and witnessed the presence of the Honorable Chief Minister of Chattisgarh, Shri. Bhupesh Baghel, and senior dignitaries from the Government of Chattisgarh, Tata Technologies, Mastercam, and other esteemed consortium partners. This collaboration aims to transform the landscape of technical education in the state by upgrading 36 Government ITIs and introducing new vocational trades and short-term courses.

Under this visionary partnership, the Government of Chattisgarh has taken a crucial step towards enhancing the employability prospects of its youth. The upgradation project will see 36 Government ITIs transformed into state-of-the-art technical workshops, equipped with cutting-edge manufacturing technologies and modern training facilities. This ambitious initiative seeks to nurture talent, harness potential, and create a skilled and employable workforce in the state.

The integration of Mastercam’s renowned CAD/CAM software within the upgraded ITIs will play a crucial role in equipping students with proficiency in modern manufacturing technologies. Mr. Vineet Seth, the Managing Director of Mastercam India who was present at this momentous occasion lauded this collaboration. He said, “We are honoured and delighted to be a part of this transformative journey in Chattisgarh. Mastercam remains steadfast in its commitment to empowering young individuals with the latest manufacturing technologies. Through this partnership we aim to inspire the youth for promising careers in the dynamic manufacturing industry, setting the stage for a brighter future for them.”

With the introduction of six new vocational trades and twenty-three short-term courses, the youth of Chattisgarh will have access to a diverse range of skill development opportunities, aligning with the evolving demands of the job market. This comprehensive approach to technical education will not only enhance their employability but also contribute to the overall socio-economic development of the state. By fostering industry-relevant skills, the Government of Chattisgarh and its partners are striving to create a seamless pathway for the youth to transition into gainful employment and actively contribute to the growth and development of the state.
