Demonstrating its continued focus on technological advancement and precision manufacturing, the Tooling SBU of Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Pvt. Ltd. is set to participate in the 14th Die & Mould India International Exhibition (DMI 2026), scheduled from April 21–24 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. As the industry evolves with increasing demands for automation, simulation, and digital integration, the company aims to highlight its capabilities in addressing complex manufacturing requirements across emerging sectors.

With India’s die and mould industry navigating global competition and shifting market dynamics, platforms like DMI provide a crucial opportunity to showcase domestic capabilities to a wider audience. The exhibition enables companies to engage with global and local stakeholders while fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and business growth.

Pankaj Abhyankar, Executive Vice President, Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Pvt. Ltd., highlighted the company’s showcase and industry outlook, stating that “the Tooling SBU of Godrej Enterprises has always been at the forefront of developing and adopting newer technologies to meet the stringent demands of customers, and at DMI 2026, we will be showcasing our contributions to the emerging EV industry along with large automation solutions designed for mass production industries,” adding that “DMI provides an important opportunity to showcase what Indian die makers are capable of to the world, with strong participation from domestic and overseas companies enabling meaningful engagement, networking, and discussions on new developments in the field.”

He further elaborated on the industry perspective, stating that “the die and mould industry is continuously evolving with advancements in technologies such as additive manufacturing, automation, simulation, and AI, where simulation has already become a basic and essential step in die development, while AI is gradually being explored for improving speed, accuracy, and data-driven decision-making,” while adding that “although initiatives like Make in India and China+1 have created opportunities, the impact has been moderated by factors such as cost and lead time advantages from global competitors,” and emphasising that “customers who prioritise quality and production reliability continue to prefer domestic die makers, especially in light of supply chain uncertainties and service considerations.”

With its participation at DMI 2026, Godrej & Boyce reinforces its commitment to advancing India’s tooling capabilities through innovation, automation, and high-performance manufacturing solutions.
