MAPAL Dr. Kress SE & Co. KG has successfully completed the TISAX certification at Assessment Level 3 in April 2026, meeting the highest requirements for confidentiality and availability. During the same month, the company also renewed its certifications according to VDA 6.4 and DIN EN ISO 9001.
With security and quality standards becoming increasingly critical in the automotive industry and in sensitive development and production processes, MAPAL further strengthened its information security processes over recent months. The company enhanced both technical and organisational measures to establish a consistently high and transparent level of security across the organisation. As part of this effort, structures were expanded, responsibilities were clearly defined, and processes were standardised.
Through the certified TISAX Assessment Level 3, MAPAL now fulfills important requirements of customers in the automotive industry while reinforcing the foundation for existing and future collaborations.
Successful surveillance audits of the quality management system at several sites
As part of the matrix certification, successful surveillance audits of the quality management system in accordance with VDA 6.4 or DIN EN ISO 9001 were conducted at several MAPAL Group sites in April 2026. In this context, external auditors confirmed the effectiveness and compliance of the internal quality management processes, as well as the commitment of the involved departments to continuous improvement and high quality standards.

Background: What is TISAX?
TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) is a standard developed by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) for assessing information security in companies. It is based on a standardized assessment system that enables customers to transparently evaluate and compare the security levels of their partners.
