Ather Energy Announces Major Expansion Plans

Ather Energy, the leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has unveiled ambitious plans for growth. The company is set to invest over ₹2,000 crore in establishing its third manufacturing facility in Maharashtra. This strategic move aligns with Ather’s goal of expanding its product portfolio and producing 1 million electric vehicles (EVs) annually.

Ather Energy’s upcoming manufacturing plant in Maharashtra will bolster its production capacity significantly. The state-of-the-art facility will cater to the growing demand for electric scooters and motorcycles while this investment is expected to generate employment opportunities for around 4,000 individuals, contributing to the local economy. Also in anticipation of an initial public offering (IPO), the company has transitioned from a private limited company to a public limited company. This move reflects the Ather’s confidence in its future prospects and commitment to transparency.
By adding a new facility in Maharashtra, Ather aims to enhance its market reach. Reduced logistics costs and accelerated product delivery will benefit customers across the country.
