The German state of Bavaria has participated in the BIEMH for the second time with a dedicated joint stand, featuring six Bavarian companies as exhibitors.

Machinery and equipment manufacturing exports account for around two thirds of this figure. As one of the major EU member states, Spain represents an important market for the Bavarian mechanical engineering industry.
