Reinforcing its expertise in precision tooling solutions, Precision Punches & Dies will showcase its range of standard components and mould base solutions at the 14th Die & Mould India International Exhibition (DMI 2026), scheduled from April 21–24 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. The company continues to focus on delivering high-precision, reliable, and flexible solutions that enhance tool performance and efficiency for modern manufacturing applications.

With the increasing demand for consistency, reduced lead times, and improved productivity in tooling, standard components play a critical role in enabling toolmakers to focus on core design and innovation. Precision Punches & Dies aims to support the evolving needs of the industry by offering solutions that combine quality, precision, and application versatility.

CH Balan, Proprietor, Precision Punches & Dies, highlighted the company’s offerings and industry perspective, stating that “we will be showcasing our expertise as a leading manufacturer of standard components for plastic injection moulds and die-casting dies, including standard components for moulds and dies as well as standard and custom mould bases,” noting that “standard components improve part replacement, consistency, and reduce lead time, while allowing toolmakers to focus on core and cavity design,” and adding that “our mould bases offer precision, reliability, and flexibility for different applications, helping enhance overall tool performance, reliability, and efficiency for modern manufacturing.”

He further emphasised the importance of industry platforms like DMI, stating that “participation in DMI has helped in building strong industry connections, sharing knowledge and ideas, and forming collaborations,” adding that “the exhibition has grown significantly and plays an important role in strengthening the tooling ecosystem,” while noting that “DMI 2026 is a key platform to showcase technology and capabilities, connect with domestic and global customers, and build brand presence.”

He further highlighted that “India is seeing strong GDP growth which is driving manufacturing and increasing demand for die and moulds,” while also pointing out challenges such as “shortage of skilled mould makers, dependence on imports, lack of domestic production of special alloy steels, and fewer workers interested in shop-floor jobs,” emphasising that “solving these issues will be important for long-term growth.”

With its continued participation at DMI, Precision Punches & Dies reaffirms its commitment to delivering precision-driven solutions while contributing to the growth and advancement of India’s tooling industry.
