Sridevi Tools Inaugurates New Facility in Pune, Expands Production Capacity

Sridevi Tool Engineers, one of India’s leading mould makers, announced the inauguration of its new facility in Chakan, Pune. The state-of-the-art plant is equipped with cutting-edge 5 & 6-axis CNC machines and latest software, poised to bolster Sridevi Tools’ production capabilities.

Akshay Kalyanpur, Director of Sridevi Tool Engineers, said, “The inauguration of our new facility marks a significant milestone for Sridevi Tools. This expansion will not only enhance our production capacity but also bring us closer to our customers, many of whom are based in Pune. “With this new facility, we will efficiently address our Pune-based customers’ ECN-related queries, resulting in better service and shorter lead times.”

India’s tooling industry is experiencing rapid growth, fueled by significant foreign direct investments (FDIs) pouring into the country. The automotive sector, in particular, is witnessing promising growth, with a notable trend towards localization among auto OEMs. This trend is expected to further stimulate demand for Indian toolmakers.
