TAGMA India successfully hosted its Chapter Meeting at Hotel Express Inn, Nashik, bringing together stakeholders from the tooling and manufacturing industry to explore emerging opportunities and innovations across the sector. The evening event was co-sponsored by leading industry players including Prime Graphite Pvt. Ltd., Ashna Enterprise, S&T Group, and STM.

The event was held on 27th June 2025 and began at 6:00 PM with registration, followed by a welcome address at 6:15 PM. During the inaugural speech, DM Sheregar, President, TAGMA India, expressed the proud moment of holding the Chapter meeting at Nashik. He expressed, “Nashik is growing fast as a manufacturing city. Toolmakers here are doing great work and getting good business. It’s really nice to see the energy and talent in this region. Cities like Nashik—our Tier-2 cities—will play a big role in the future of Indian manufacturing. They have smart people, growing factories, and lots of new ideas. I invite all Nashik-based companies to join TAGMA. By becoming a member, you can learn more, grow faster, and be a part of India’s tooling story. Thank you for coming. Let’s grow together!”

A key highlight of the evening was a fireside chat on ‘The Rise of India’s Tooling Industry and the Role of Tier-2 Cities’, which explored how cities like Nashik are becoming critical hubs for precision manufacturing and tooling excellence. The fireside chat was moderated by Moderate by Nishant Kashyap, Editor, TAGMA Time. The speakers of the discussion included, Dominic Savio, Sr Genral Manager, Legrand; Yogesh Morade, GM, Mahindra & Mahindra Nashik; Raj Singh, Co-founder & Director, Eqic Dies & Moulds Engineering

The agenda featured several insightful presentations:

  • Prime Graphite Pvt. Ltd. presented on ‘Beyond Cost: The Power of Quality-Driven Growth’, stressing the importance of performance over price in tooling procurement and project success.
  • Ashna Enterprise shared their expertise in a session titled Introduction to the World of Mould Base & Die Sets’, helping attendees understand foundational elements in mould making.
  • S&T Group (Trading) presented End to end solutions for medium & large size mould manufacturing’, focusing on complete service delivery models.
  • S&T Group (Manufacturing) concluded with a session on ‘STM Machines Powering the Future of Complex Die Machining’, reflecting their advancements in machining technologies tailored for complex die and mould applications.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks at 8:25 PM. With its continued emphasis on regional empowerment, TAGMA India’s chapter meeting enhanced the role of collaboration, quality, and knowledge-sharing in upgrading India’s tooling ecosystem, particularly through the rise of Tier-2 cities as strategic industrial nodes.
