The Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) will organise Pune Machine Tool Expo (PMTX) 2026 alongside Factory Equipment Expo (FACTEQ) 2026 from 7 to 10 September 2026 at the Pune International Exhibition & Convention Centre (PIECC), Moshi, Pune. The announcement was made at a press conference held in Ahmedabad.

PMTX will showcase advanced machine tools, manufacturing technologies, factory automation and precision engineering solutions. Co-located FACTEQ will focus on factory equipment and solutions for new manufacturing facilities as well as the upgradation of existing factories.

More than 175 exhibitors are expected to participate in the two exhibitions, showcasing technologies across machine tools, metal cutting, metal forming, tooling, automation, robotics, metrology and digital manufacturing.

FACTEQ will also feature factory equipment, material handling systems, industrial infrastructure, energy-efficient solutions and smart factory technologies.

Business visitors from various industry segments such as automotive, aerospace, general and heavy engineering, capital goods, and many other sectors are expected to visit. Pune is one of India’s most important manufacturing and engineering centres. The expo is designed to provide the machine tool and manufacturing industry with a platform to evaluate solutions, interact with experts, and experience machines and factory systems LIVE. The expo will help visitors to get acquainted with the production technologies and factory infrastructure solutions.

According to Mr. Jibak Dasgupta, Director General & CEO – IMTMA, “Manufacturers today want to see technology performs providing end-to-end solutions, not just machines. Live machine demonstrations, service propositions, and direct engagement with technology providers will enable faster and more informed investment decisions.”

Western India, including Gujarat’s strong manufacturing ecosystem will continue to be a healthy contributor to India’s engineering output. Overall, IMTMA expects good participation from OEMs, component manufacturers, MSMEs, and factory managers who are actively exploring automation, quality enhancement, and cost optimisation. The expo also creates opportunities for business networking, supplier discovery, technology partnerships, and industrial collaboration.

Trade visitors can register online, and entry to the exhibition will be free for registered industry professionals.
