The EMO serves as an ideal platform for MAPAL to present its latest innovations, strengthen relationships, and build new partnerships. Engaging personally with both existing and prospective customers at trade shows is a cornerstone of the precision tool manufacturer’s philosophy and remains a key element of its marketing strategy. “For us, EMO is more than just a trade fair – it’s a vital component of our customer engagement and the platform where we introduce our product innovations for the year ahead,” says Jacek Kruszynski, Chief Technology Officer at MAPAL.

MAPAL is showcasing its newest solutions and technologies at Stand A20 in Hall 4. This year marks a double celebration, as MAPAL commemorates its 75th anniversary and the EMO celebrates its 50th.

Enhancing productivity in customer processes is the central theme of MAPAL’s trade fair presence and its innovations for 2026. As a comprehensive solutions provider, MAPAL supports customers across the entire process chain – from turnkey solutions involving process and tool design, to on-site technical support during production, as well as tool management and digital services. The overarching goal is to consistently improve productivity within customer operations. This principle also underpins the 2026 innovations across various areas including reaming, fine boring, boring, milling, clamping, and setting. Among the highlights are the OptiMill-Uni-HPC and solutions based on HPR400 technology.

OptiMill-Uni-HPC

With the third-generation OptiMill-Uni-HPC, MAPAL is introducing a solid carbide milling cutter specifically developed for automated manufacturing processes. Featuring a newly developed cutting material, a wear-resistant coating, and a version with an integrated chip breaker, it ensures maximum process reliability, high material removal rates, and extended machine uptime – making it perfectly suited for unmanned shifts and robot-assisted machining. The new generation is available in three versions, covering a broad spectrum of applications in steel, stainless steel, and cast iron machining.

Productivity gains in large-diameter machining with the HPR400 reaming system

MAPAL’s HPR400 reaming system delivers numerous advantages in machining speed, ease of use, and flexibility for large-diameter applications. At EMO, MAPAL is presenting several new solutions designed to boost productivity in series production.

A standout innovation is the combination tool featuring the ISO leading stage and the HPR400 system—an advanced one-shot solution for high-performance finish machining. It allows up to 6 mm of stock removal in a single pass, ensuring minimal cycle times.

The HPR400 plus series has been specifically developed for machining face grooves. This new tool concept greatly enhances the cost efficiency of machining bores with special base contours.

Together with a newly developed tool for finishing stator bores in electric motors, these innovations demonstrate how machining cost-effectiveness can be significantly improved, even in complex applications.

The combination tool with ISO pre-cutting stage and HPR400 system enables finishing of bores with up to 6 mm stock allowance in a single operation. The main material removal is performed by the ISO cutting section, while the HPR400 system handles the finishing process.”   ©MAPAL

“Empower Your Aluminium Machining”

Aluminium machining is another key focus of MAPAL’s 2025 trade fair presentation. With the motto “Empower Your Aluminium Machining,” MAPAL highlights how intelligent tooling solutions can deliver maximum precision, process reliability, and cost-efficiency in the machining of aluminium components. Backed by decades of materials expertise in aluminium, MAPAL offers a comprehensive portfolio of high-performance tools designed for highly productive machining operations.
