Mold-Masters & Primaform Partner on Next-Gen Injection Molding Solution

Mold-Masters®, a global leader in hot runners, controllers, and co-injection systems, has announced the launch of its new Integra production cell, developed in collaboration with Primaform. Designed to transform small part production, the Integra system offers an optimized, high-performance alternative to traditional large injection molding machines and semi-cold runner systems.

The innovative production cell delivers enhanced part quality, faster cycle times, and higher output. Mold-Masters reports that the Integra can reduce cycle times by up to 25%, support high-cavitation production, and eliminate cold runners—leading to significant material and resin savings for molders.

Hans Hagelstein, Global President, Mold-Masters, said, “At Mold-Masters, we are committed to pioneering innovative technologies that delivers value and transforms the market. Our focus is on continuously shaping our services and support to meet the unique regional needs of our customers, ensuring tailored solutions that drive success globally”.

Integra is a turnkey, all-electric production cell that incorporates Mold-Masters E-Multi auxiliary injection, hot runner, and various process control systems. All movements are servo controlled (injection, valve-gate, and motion). Servos provide precise, fast, reliable, and repeatable movements. Compared to hydraulic systems, servos are viable for clean room applications and consume less energy to operate than conventional hydraulic systems.

Mold-Masters Integra, and all other necessary equipment, is available single sourced. Single sourcing significantly simplifies the ordering process to reduce lead time and improve your time to market. It’s plug and play design can be delivered along with a site acceptance test (SAT). As this package eliminates the need for conventional injection molding machines, it is up to 80% more compact than conventional production equipment. The Integra cell will be available for order in October 2025 with rapid lead times compared to traditional injection molding machine cells. Integra, a unique solution new to the world of plastic injection.
