M.A. Ford Europe to Launch New 137V5R Roughers at EMO Hannover

M.A. Ford Europe Ltd. will be showcasing its new 5-flute Series 137V5R Roughers, designed for high-performance machining of aluminium alloys. The tool combines aggressive chip breaker geometry, through coolant, and Fordlube coating, delivering exceptional metal removal rates, improved chip control, and reduced power consumption. The tool will be officially launched at EMO Hannover next week, alongside several other new product introductions.

The 137V5R also minimizes cutting noise compared to standard end mills, while enhancing stability in long-reach applications. By reducing feed rates, the tool can even be applied in finishing operations, offering manufacturers greater versatility. Available in 12mm and 16mm diameters, the range includes HA or HB Weldon shank options, along with 3xD and 5xD necked flute lengths.
