At EMO 2025 in Hannover, System 3R International AB will present its latest software innovation, WSM 5, on two T3-600 milling cells and one T6-165 milling cell. The new version introduces a modern three-tier architecture, adding a logical layer between the application and persistence layers, which paves the way for future features and advanced solutions.
Enhanced Functionality with WSM 5
The WSM 5 software system can be integrated with all System 3R robot types and cells, providing comprehensive support for Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), alternative routings, part handling, fixture management, ERP integration, and serial number generation, among other functionalities. The updated interface features a brand-new user interface (UI) and color scheme for improved usability.
Focus on AMRs and Collaborative Robotics
System 3R has emphasized the trend of AMRs in its latest developments. WSM 5 allows seamless interaction between AMRs and the collaborative robot C6-20L, enabling flexible and agile material transfer. This integration supports the vision of a fully automated ‘lights out factory’, ensuring efficient, autonomous production operations.
Visitors to EMO 2025 will be able to experience live demonstrations of WSM 5 and see how it enhances robotic milling cells for smarter, more connected manufacturing.
